Information

  • The Boat:

The GM Sea is a 30 foot Boston Whaler Conquest walk around cabin powered by twin Mercury 225 outboard engines, equipped with a large cockpit for fighting fish, outriggers, in-deck fish boxes, plenty of ice in the cooler for your beverage of choice, large enclosed v-berth and swim ladder.

  • Food and Beverages:

Please bring your own food and beverage, alcohol for those 21 years or older is welcomed. Please be responsible. We supply ice, bottled water and cooler.

  • Attire:

Conditions can change rapidly on the water, you should bring: some long clothes to protect yourself from the sun and a jacket in case it gets cool (mainly fall and winter season). A soft rubber-soled shoe is recommended. Polarized sunglasses and a hat or visor are also recommended.

  • Suntan Lotion:

Tanning oils and other oil-based lotions are not allowed on the boat. They stain the fighting chair and couch cushions and make the deck slippery. They also contaminate the reels, line, and rod grips and make them difficult to hold. There are many water-based sun screens and blocks that provided excellent protection without the mess.

  • Tackle:

All bait, tackle, and fishing licenses are supplied. Equipment that is lost or damaged while in your possession will be charged at our cost. Please be careful while handling the fishing gear.

We want your visit to be a happy memory. We want to build a friendship with each of our customers and hope to fish with you again soon!

  • Tips:

It is customary to tip the Captain 15-20%. However if you feel they did an exceptionally good job you might consider tipping higher. They would greatly appreciate it.

  • Mounts:

If you catch a fish which you would like to have mounted, the Captain can give you all the necessary information and will make arrangements with the taxidermist for you. You may release your fish and still have it mounted. Catch and release mounts are common today and are recommended by the crew.

  • The Fish:
